The operators of these sites take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, etc.) is collected on our website, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis, e.g. in the context of an enquiry or registration. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.
We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security vulnerabilities. A seamless protection of data against access by third parties is not guaranteed.
Cookies
Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
The majority of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser next time you visit us.
You can configure your browser so that you are informed about the placement of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the use of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Server-Log-Files
The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These include:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively should we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.
Contact form
In case you send us enquiries via the contact form, your data from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored with us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not forward this data without your consent.
The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time, for example by sending us an informal email. The legality of the data processing activities carried out until the consent is revoked remains unaffected by the decision to revoke.
The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after final processing of your enquiry). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular obligations to preserve records – remain unaffected.
Processing of your data
The data you provide to us when you send an enquiry to us or conclude a contract with us will only be used (unless you have given your consent for extended data processing to us) for the purpose required to answer your enquiry or fulfil the contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO [General Data Protection Regulation]).
We will only use your data, which you provide us with this consent, for other purposes (e.g. sending newsletters) if you give us your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a. DSGVO for this purpose. The specific purpose of use results from the corresponding declaration of consent. Consent to the processing of your data is given on a voluntary basis. You can refuse this consent without negative consequences for you.
You can revoke your consent at any time. Please note that even after your decision to revoke your consent, we may continue to process the data that is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or legal obligations. Until we receive your notice of revocation, your data may be lawfully processed by us.
You will not suffer any disadvantage as a result of revoking your consent to processing your data. You will no longer receive any promotional information from us.
Transmission of your data toprocessors
With your consent, your data will be transferred to the bodies listed in your declaration of consent (Nilas MV GmbH and, if applicable, the medical device advisors/distribution partners appointed for this purpose by it). They may only process your data to the extent to which you have given your consent.
In addition, we transmit individual data records to external service providers (so-called order processors) for a specific purpose. Your data will only be made accessible to them to the extent necessary for the execution of their services. Processors are subject to the same strict regulations of data protection law and are bound to the processing purposes that are contractually specified to them by us. Processors are therefore not allowed to use your data for other purposes.
The processors to whom we disclose your data are as follows:
• Communication service providers (e.g. sending letters or faxes)
• Logistics service providers (e.g. transport and parcel companies)
• Credit institutions/leasing service providers for the purpose of payment
• IT service providers used by us (e.g. storage space)
• Tax consultants
• Legal representatives or courts in the event of an issue
Some of these processors are located outside the European Union (EU) or process your data there. We only transfer your data to countries which, according to the assessment of the EU Commission, have an appropriate level of data protection analogous to that of the EU (“Privacy Shield”).
Your data will not be transferred by us to third parties for their commercial use unless you have expressly consented to this transfer in a separate declaration.
Storage period of your data
Your data will only be stored by us for as long as is reasonably necessary to achieve the specified purpose and as permitted by applicable law. In any case, we keep your data as long as this is required by legal obligations to keep records or as long as the statute of limitations for potential legal claims has not expired.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party designated by you in a common, machine-readable format. Should you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Newsletter subscription
You can subscribe to our newsletter via this website. For this, we need your declaration of consent (click on the corresponding option) that you agree to receive the newsletter. We also collect and process information voluntarily provided about personal data and preferences for the purpose of providing you with relevant information on an individual basis. You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time.
Google Maps
This website uses the interactive online map service Google Maps from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”) via an application programming interface (API).
This map service is used to support our online offer in the form of a user-friendly display of location information. This represents a legitimate interest as defined by Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. If you interact with Google Maps, e.g. for route planning or to find information about specific places and events, Google will automatically collect data (e.g. your search queries, your IP address, your location if applicable, device information, cookie data). This data is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The operator of this website has no influence on the type and extent of data collection and transmission resulting from your individual use of Google Maps. If you are logged into a Google account, you also enable Google to associate your surfing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can restrict or prevent this by adjusting your personal data protection settings (browser, Google account, etc.) accordingly or by logging out of your Google account.
By accessing Google Maps/Google Earth or using or downloading their content, you agree to:
- the Google Terms of Service (“General Terms”),
- the Additional Terms of Use for Google Maps/Google Earth (“Additional Terms of Use for Google Maps/Google Earth”),
- the Google Maps/Google Earth Legal Notices (“Legal Notices”), as well as
- the Google Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”).

Usage of web fonts
This website uses external fonts (web fonts) from the font libraries of Google Fonts. Google Fonts is a service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). The use of Google Fonts serves the uniform, browser-independent and user-friendly presentation of our online services and represents a legitimate interest as defined by Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The integration of these web fonts takes place via a server request; usually a Google server in the USA. When a page is loaded, the corresponding web fonts are loaded by your browser into the cache of your browser in order to display the texts of this website correctly. This communicates to Google’s server which website you have visited. Google also stores the IP address of the browser of the terminal device of the visitor to this website.

Youtube
This website integrates plugins from YouTube, a site operated by Google. The operator of the site is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”). YouTube, LLC is in turn a subsidiary of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). YouTube is an online video portal through which video and film publishers can upload videos free of charge, which can be viewed, rated and/or (if logged in) commented on by other users of this portal (including non-registered/non-logged-in users) free of charge. YouTube enables the publication of all types of video content, e.g. professional information, tutorials, entertainment, etc.
YouTube is used in the interest of visitor-friendly and simple use of our website. This constitutes a legitimate interest as defined by Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
By accessing a page of our website equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is automatically established in order to load a representation of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube, regardless of whether you click on a YouTube video or not. In doing so, the YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account at the same time, you also enable YouTube or Google to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Further information on the handling of user data by YouTube or Google can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

TLS-/TLS/SSL encryption
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to us as operator of this website. You can identify an encrypted connection by the fact that the URL line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and also by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Right to Information, Deletion, Data Locking
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing, as well as the right to correct, lock or delete this data. You can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint for this purpose and for further questions on the subject of personal data.
Right of appeal to the responsible regulatory body
Objection to marketing e-mails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the framework of the duty to publish an imprint for the purpose of sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of the website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example by spam e-mails.
